Ultimately, a coach’s core goal should be to get you into reflection about YOU. And this usually happens by letting their own personalities, values, beliefs, etc. take a backseat so that you are front and center.
While similar to therapy in some ways, coaching is an entirely different modality and might help you tap into different insights or possibilities for your life, especially if you’ve been in therapy for years and want to try something new.
Life coaching? Executive coaching? Leadership coaching? Coaching is many different things and can mean different things to different people. It is a huge umbrella under which many disparate practices and modalities can fall. With me, it aims to be a powerful catalyst for personal, creative, or professional fulfillment.

Friday marked my one-year anniversary as a leadership coach. It feels like I’ve learned an almost impossible amount about myself, this profession, and my role and style within it. And yet, it’s also shocking how fast it has all gone by.

When I really listen within, what feels most alive lately is an impulse to speak more powerfully and boldly, especially about ways I and others can be in greater integrity with ourselves, our society, and our planet.
Everyone has a “good reason” that perfectly explains how they are showing up, whether or not it’s diagnosable. Or perhaps, the only diagnosis they really need is “human.”
