A new analysis has found that the population size and distributions of 14 mammal, eight bird, two frog, one reptile and one fish species in Australia had sufficiently improved to no longer meet listing criteria.
The solar farm, which is three times larger than the world’s current largest solar farm in northern China, is also expected to provide thousands of jobs related to construction and hundreds of jobs once construction is done.
The project, known as Sun Cable, will introduce a 10 GW array of solar panels across 37,000 acres and send much of its output to Singapore.
