A Course in Miracles (CIM) was created by Dr. Helen Schucman in 1965 through the Foundation for Inner Peace. The Foundation for Inner Peace is a charitable organization and is the only organization designated by the scribe, Dr. Helen Schucman, to “publish, distribute and discuss” the CIM. Focused on suicide prevention efforts among lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning (LGBTQ) youth, they offer a toll-free telephone number where confidential assistance is provided by trained counselors.
